Carolyn Frazee is a nutritionist based in Denver, Colorado. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Metropolitan State University of Denver. While studying, Carolyn served as a Research Assistant in producing the Metro Caring Fresh Foods Market Calcium Assessment and Availability study alongside Drs. Melissa Masters and Bruce Rengers. She has also given numerous nutrition-related presentations including: consumer awareness in selecting healthy foods and viable alternatives, sensory analysis of ingredients in common shelf-stable foods and the rigors of nutrition and dietetics degreed programs and professional certification and their effects on the broader industry.
Carolyn is currently working at a nonprofit organization in Denver, where she is developing a department wellness program for employees and caregivers. Outside her work, Carolyn is interested in community nutrition with a concentration on addressing urban and rural food deserts. Carolyn is a member of the national and Colorado branch of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Denver Dietetic Association.
